The Waldorf Iridium Desktop MK2 represents the next evolution of Waldorf’s powerful desktop synthesizer from the renowned Quantum and Iridium series. Featuring a new CPU board, expanded RAM, and increased flash storage, the MK2 delivers greater processing power, larger sample capacities, and significantly expanded sonic possibilities.

Its innovative multi-engine synthesis architecture combines multiple synthesis methods in a single instrument, enabling extremely versatile sound design—from complex wavetable textures and granular/sample-based sounds to the new Seeds synthesis, which generates evolving timbral journeys using sub-oscillators.

With up to four multitimbral layers, advanced Round-Robin and Random-Robin modes, the Flavour control for organic micro-variations, and Per-Note Parameter Locks (developed in collaboration with Aphex Twin), the Iridium Desktop MK2 opens up entirely new creative possibilities for producers, sound designers, and film composers.
