Strymon Fairfax – Class-A Analog Output Stage Drive Pedal
The Strymon Fairfax is not a typical overdrive or distortion pedal – it is a fully analog mini amplifier in pedal form, designed to bring the warm, dynamic feel of classic tube amps to your setup. Inspired by the legendary Garnet Amplifiers Herzog® Tube Drive, originally designed in 1965 for Randy Bachman, the Fairfax delivers natural saturation, rich harmonic depth, and an organic response that works equally well as a clean boost and a powerful saturation drive.
This pedal is ideal for guitarists seeking authentic tube tone without digital emulation, offering a wide tonal range from subtle, warm push to thick lead drive and even experimental, gated-style textures.
