Multi-dimensional sound arrangements

Protein offers eight voices that can split into up to four layers — ideal for complex, multi-dimensional sound arrangements, surprising round-robin modes, or classic multitimbral setups across different MIDI channels.

With the practical “Load Layer” function, completely new sound worlds can be created in seconds — simply by combining existing layers from the extensive preset library.

Despite its compact size, the Protein is a real powerhouse: It comes with more than 150 factory presets of very different sound characters and offers space for up to 250 of your own sounds. Thanks to the 4-layer concept, users can freely mix sounds from the existing library and playfully create new combinations — intuitive, direct, and inspiring.
