Custom Shop Factory Special H-150 Electric Guitar – 60s Neck

The Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-150 delivers the inspiration and sound that made late ’50s electric guitars iconic and timeless.

This special guitar is handcrafted at the legendary factory on 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA, and features either a beautifully figured or plain maple top, depending on the model. The body is made from ultra-lightweight, genuine mahogany, allowing the Heritage Custom Core H-150 to achieve a total weight of under 4.0 kg, despite its solid construction. A nitrocellulose finish with a vintage gloss gives the instrument a silky-smooth playing feel and allows it to age authentically over time. With its redesigned carved top, 17° headstock angle, and 4.5° neck angle, the H-150 is optimized for exceptional playability.

This guitar also debuts the exclusive Heritage Custom Shop 225 Classic Humbuckers. Developed by Edwin Wilson, Director of Guitar R&D at Heritage Guitars, these pickups are custom-voiced specifically for the Custom Core H-150. Whether clean or overdriven, they offer high transparency and dynamic response, making them suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

Key features of this Factory Special include a modern, slimmer C-profile neck inspired by the early 1960s, ideal for players with smaller hands or for fast, technical playing. A locking bridge and lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece provide enhanced sustain and resonance. The headstock features a real wood veneer with the Heritage logo and a Twin Arrow mother-of-pearl inlay. The 3L/3R tuners are laser-engraved with the Heritage logo.

The guitar comes in a newly designed Custom Shop Deluxe hardshell case, complete with a certificate of authenticity and case candy.
