Advanced CDCM HD and F.I.R.E. modelling technology

Hotone’s innovative CDCM HD (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modelling High Definition) and F.I.R.E. (Field Impulse Response Enhancement) system is at the heart of Ampero One. Standard modelling methods are generally based on static state circuit modelling or “black box” theory, which only “approximate” the modelled sound. CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. uses a complex system equipped with dynamic modelling. In this matrix, the entire circuit with its modelled electronic components is constantly reassembled, resulting in a lively, accurate and expressive sound. In addition, the new system improves the interaction between amplifiers and PA systems and delivers a natural feel with a realistic response never before seen on digital equipment.

Ampero One is powered by a dual DSP platform with Hotone’s proprietary CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. modelling system.

Main processor – Analog Devices® SHARC®* series

A powerful 4th generation DSP of the SHARC®* series from Analog Devices® is used in the audio engine. Compared to XTOMP, this processor offers higher performance and hardware-based audio processing accelerator modules that make it easy to process multiple complex effect algorithms in XTOMP quality.

Co-processor – NXP® RT Series

The NXP® RT Series crossover co-processor runs on the ARM® Cortex®-M7 core. The co-processor not only supports the processing of audio streams, but also powers the touchscreen display, USB inputs and outputs and other functions.

The Ampero One can combine up to 9 effects simultaneously with the flexible FX1, FX2 and FX3/MOD effect modules. Ampero One has the same ever-growing modelling effects library as the powerful XTOMP pedal, only with even more sounds

Authentic acoustic sound

No more need to carry an extra acoustic guitar! Ampero One is equipped with the advanced “Black Tech” acoustic simulation algorithms. Together with the built-in acoustic IRs and acoustic simulation presets, you can easily make your electric guitar sound like acoustic instruments: Western guitar, nylon guitar, resonator or even ukulele!
