The U37 USB large-diaphragm condenser microphone is the perfect partner for podcasting, video and professional mobile recording. Without additional hardware such as a preamplifier or external sound card, the U37 enables professional studio-quality recordings directly on the computer thanks to the integrated USB interface. The condenser microphone delivers a full and detailed sound, ideal for vocals, voice-overs or instrument recordings. The cardioid polar pattern minimises background noise and isolates the sound source to be recorded. Two switches on the front panel allow the level to be reduced by 10 dB at high sound pressure levels. The bass cut function reduces low-frequency ambient noise such as wind. The U37 is class-compliant and compatible with Windows and macOS operating systems, eliminating the need to install drivers. Its unbeatable price-performance ratio and sound characteristics make it one of the world’s best-selling USB microphones.

CAD (Conneaut Audio Devices) Professional Microphones was originally founded in 1988 as the pro audio division of Astatic Corporation to design and manufacture microphones for the recording and live segments. CAD first released a revolutionary servo-switching console and groundbreaking processing products, and went on to develop a range of innovative and cost-effective high-performance studio microphones. These included the famous Equitek E100, E200 and E300 series microphones, which revolutionised the project studio field in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
