The 1.1″ gold-plated multi-pattern dual-diaphragm condenser capsule (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-eight) is hand-damped for consistent frequency response. The regulated bypass voltage generator for precise output sensitivity, the sophisticated laser-trimmed amplifier circuit for improved management of fast transients and the open capsule architecture make the E300S a perfect studio vocal microphone. Other features include an on/off switch with automatic power-off, a high-pass filter and a 20 dB pad cut. A cushioned carrying basket and carrying case are included.
CAD (Conneaut Audio Devices) Professional Microphones was originally founded in 1988 as the pro audio division of Astatic Corporation to design and manufacture microphones for the recording and live segments. CAD first released a revolutionary servo-switching console and groundbreaking processing products, and went on to develop a range of innovative and cost-effective high-performance studio microphones.
