VibesConnect and new firmware for Mayer EMI Vibes MD850
VibesConnect and new firmware for Mayer EMI Vibes MD850
With VibesConnect and the new XVAOS 4.0 operating system, Mayer EMI presents the next stage of development for the Vibes MD850.
The update enables a seamless interaction between modern web technology, powerful sound architecture, and intuitive operation.
VibesConnect is a browser-based user interface that provides direct access to the Vibes MD850 via Wi-Fi or Ethernet — with no additional software, drivers, or USB cables required.
This allows drum patterns and sequences to be created, edited, and managed easily on a computer or tablet. Direct control of the sequencer/clip launcher is also extremely practical, especially during live performances.
To capture the expanded range of functions more accurately, Mayer EMI introduces the term “SynthStation”. It represents a new concept: a self-contained music production system that combines a synthesizer, drum machine, mixer, and sequencer.
The addition of the word “Station” highlights that the Vibes MD850 is more than just a synthesizer — it is the central hub of an entire production and performance workflow.
VibesConnect and XVAOS 4.0 are available now as a free update for all existing units and come pre-installed on all newly shipped models.
