Lovingly handcrafted in small numbers at the historic workshop on 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, the H-555 represents the perfect fusion of innovation, luthiery, and timeless design tradition.

The H-555 features a body made from highly figured laminated maple, adorned with multi-ply binding, and finished in a stunning Nitrocellulose Almond Burst. Elegant cat-eye inlays, tortoiseshell side dots, and a bound pickguard made from figured maple in Transparent Black give the instrument a distinctive and refined visual presence. The comfortable ‘60s C-shaped neck made from genuine mahogany provides effortless playability across all 22 frets.

Tonally, the H-555 delivers true Custom Shop performance: The specially designed 40th Anniversary Edition 225 Classic Humbuckers – crafted entirely in-house – combine the airy resonance of unpotted coils with the focus and control of potted covers. The result is a vintage-inspired tone with modern clarity and feedback resistance. Paired with Luxe Bumble Bee capacitors and premium CTS potentiometers, the H-555 produces a tone that is expressive, dynamic, and exceptionally responsive – perfect for discerning players.
